General Accountability

Monitor supplies required for R&D Light labs operation and update inventory to assure an uninterrupted supply for experimental work.

Assist with EHS lab related initiatives such as chemical inventory control and participation in inspections.
Assist with performing experiments, involving activities including cartridge testing, as required to support R&D project and other deliverables.
Communicate as well as interface with and serve the needs of various stakeholders related to laboratory management. This requires a good deal of flexibility and the capacity to manage a fluctuating workload.

  • Experience writing/preparing operational procedures, forms and templates – an asset
  • Obtained and applied previous safety training – an asset

Desired Information Technology skills

  • Proficient with Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) – required
  • Experience working with MS Excel (intermediate or better) – required
  • Experience with computer programing and database creation – an asset
  • Experience with inventory management – an asset
