Adecco is currently hiring for a Receptionist - Banking Downtown Toronto, ON. To qualify for Receptionist - Banking position, you must have 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative function in a fast paced corporate environment.
Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the financial services industry. This Receptionist - Banking role is a 1-year contract and has a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
Receptionist - Banking Responsibilities:
-Greets executives and senior managers of the organization, external vendors, executive contacts of clients (including CEO’s and CFO’s), prospects, potential candidates for hire, and internal personnel providing a critical first impression and setting the tone for a positive, friendly, efficient, accurate, and professional image of the Bank
-Coordinates all logistics related to meetings or interviews and ensures all parties are kept apprised of schedules and locations
-Monitors and ensures that all established administrative and operational processes and control standards are followed, contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the business group.
-Given the significant exposure to a broad range of contacts, this role is a critical first and lasting impression of the business and directly impacts all relationships.
Receptionist - Banking Qualifications:
-Outlook experience is a must
-Requires 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative function in a fast paced corporate environment.
-Proficient at secretarial and administrative tasks.
-Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a wide variety of tasks.
-Intermediate level PC skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Lotus; web browsers).
-Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Proficient at managing multi-line phone system and ability to direct calls in a prioritized manner.
-Ability to deal with clients in a professional and courteous manner, and to develop professional working relationships.
-Ability to learn about the organization and the supported business unit’s uniqueness and then use this knowledge to carry out accountabilities.
Additional position information:
-Light lifting, moving stock in our stationery room, moving packages
-Long hours, has to be able to cover extra shifts if needed on short notice
-High pressure and client facing role
-Corporate reception experience preferred
