Adecco is currently recruiting for a Receptionist-Bilingual for a 6 month contract position. This would be with an association that is a very friendly, yet fast paced environment, located in downtown Ottawa, ON. 
** possible work schedule: Monday – Friday from 08:30 am to 4:30 pm 

The Receptionist-Bilingual will have the following responsibilities:

-Responding to phone, email, mail and in-person inquiries in a timely manner – referring inquiries to appropriate sources or individuals.  
-Provide assistance and support to the president and other members.
-Provide support and assistance to the finance team
-Providing excellent customer service to people from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, as well as with a wide range of computer/internet proficiency. 
-Maintaining the company’s database organized (list of clients, orders, contact information)
-Administer the telephone and voicemail system.
-Reconciliation of credit card accounts
-Maintaining the list of prices for articles in stock 
-Ordering office supplies as needed.
-Provide assistance with annual stocktaking and shredding paper
-Processing orders for stamps and seals, ordering them and mailing them out.
-Ensure warehouse security (locks, doors, security system)
-Maintaining debit machine and printers.
-Maintain clean areas (recycling, warehouse) in accordance with the company’s policy.

The Receptionist- Bilingual must meet the following mandatory requirements:

-Completion of Ontario Secondary School (or equivalent) and/or related experience complimented by training.
-3-years of customer relations and progressive office administrative related role.
-Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills in both official languages, with a high degree of accuracy required.
-Capacity and competency to engage a large volume of work while managing interruptions and maintaining top-level customer service.
-Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision and within prescribed timelines.
-Ability to be flexible and motivated in dealing with a fluctuating and unpredictable workload. 
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
-Proficient with the MS Suite software, e-mail and Internet
-Discrete and able to work with confidential information.
-Experience on email reply, calls rerouting, and keeping the office always informed of events.
