Adecco is currently recruiting to a full time 1 year maternity leave Receptionist job in Edmonton, AB.  The Receptionist job will be responsible for responding to all incoming calls, taking messages and greeting visitors.  Our client is a well established wholesale building products company offering full time employment for the next year in their busy, friendly and stable work environment.

Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls, transferred to appropriate individuals and taking messages.
  • Greeting visitors and directly to appropriate colleagues.
  • Filing work and purchase orders.
  • Typing general correspondence when required.
  • Assisting in general office administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of direct related experience working in a fast paced setting.
  • Possess professional telephone manner taking messages an transferring calls in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Comfortable processing a high volume of paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Basic MSOffice skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A reliable team player who is able to commit to a one year role.
