Receptionist Job Opening in Toronto, ON

Adecco Professional is currently looking for various junior to senior level Receptionists in the Greater Toronto Area. These opportunities can start as soon as possible and can be weekly, monthly, on-going positions, or temporary with the potential to turn permanent roles. The right individual will be flexible and available to start quite immediately. The qualified candidate will also have 1 year+ of professional experience working as a front desk Receptionist in a business or corporate environment. The responsibilities for this Receptionist role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Being the front face of the organization, greeting visitors, and providing a warm welcoming atmosphere
  • Effectively answer high volume calls and handling multi-line switch boards during busy hours
  • Setting up team meetings, booking appointments, coordinating schedules, and managing guest books through Microsoft Outlook or other system
  • Maintaining record of office supplies
  • Troubleshooting any technical problems when required
  • Collecting and delivering mail, organizing shipments, and managing confidential documents as needed  
  • Providing exceptional customer service by giving accurate and detailed information to visitors or clients
  • Ensuring day to day operations run smoothly
  • Performing administrative and office related tasks as required

The qualifications for the Receptionist opportunities role include:

  • 1+ year experience as a Reception or front desk role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and other front desk software applications
  • Ability to remain calm during busy hours
  • Familiar with spreadsheets, word-processing software’s, e-mails, and file sharing system
  • Be an organized individual with strong ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
