Adecco Professional is currently hiring for some Receptionist job openings in Toronto, ON for our clients. As people are using up vacation time, there have been an influx in temporary assignments - some for a couple days, weeks and even month(s)! Our clients are situated around the Toronto and North York areas. Please note that these are in-office roles and the working hours are typically 8:30am - 5pm or something closely similar.
Some of the responsibilities for Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to (and may vary based on each client);
Answer and redirect calls and voicemail that can come in spurts, at times high volumes
Calls may require you to take manual messages, and some directed to applicable departments or voicemail
Meet and greet when necessary; volumes are more minimal still at this time
Mail and courier administration; sorting and distributing/forwarding
General administration of paperwork, can include dating forms, sorting/organizing documents, ensuring all in is taken care of in a prompt manner
Data entry and general administration
As required, schedule meeting rooms primarily in MS Outlook as well as virtual meetings
Other duties as assigned.
Some of the required qualifications for the Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON include:
At least 6 months+ in a front desk reception role acting as the voice of the firm
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral along with the confidence and ability to interact with all levels of clients; internal and external
Mature, confident and professional
Ability to control multiple priorities, while also having the ability to take initiative and think on your feet
Flexible and can-do attitude
Strong MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Fully vaccinated
