We are currently hiring for a full-time, Recruiter on contract within the Onsite Managed Services team in Brampton, ON.

Job Summary:

We currently have a job opening for a Recruiter located at our Brampton Recruitment Centre.  In this role, you will maintain high levels of client satisfaction by sourcing qualified candidates to match the needs of clients while ensuring the branch’s financial goals are met. As the successful candidate, you will possess high levels of customer service performance, with an ability to build strong client and candidate relationships and identify opportunities for new business

Job responsibilities include:

  • Reviews job descriptions and ensures there is a solid understanding of each client’s specific requirements.
  • Effectively attracts and sources qualified candidates through SEO job postings ensuring the postings are modified as required to attract the best fit.
  • Ensures the data is current with up to date information, continually tracks associate availability and keeps an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demands for the top branch roles.
  • Uses various social media platforms to post jobs, search for qualified candidates, network and source top talent.
  • Screens resumes and conducts preliminary interviews through phone prescreens to ensure that candidates are suitable for the client work environment.
  • Books a target number of face-to-face interviews for Recruitment Consultants each week and assists with interviews as required.
  • Generates sales leads through the associate interview process and reference checks.
  • Researches and suggests new sourcing and recruitment methods, working with the branch team and the Marketing Department to find and attract candidates.
  • To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility
  • Minimum two (2) years’ related experience, ideally in a service-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of labour and employment laws.
  • Experience/knowledge of general Human Resources practices an asset.
  • Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
