Our growing Mississauga client who is a leader in the Security industry is looking for a Recruiter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience managing high volume recruiting.
PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for effectively managing the high volume recruiting. Ensure hiring quality candidates for the vacant positions on a timely basis
Ensure hiring process is completed in advance, while monitoring future needs with the turnaround time for an on-boarded employee
Ensure a complete hiring process from setting up and conducting interviews to the on-boarding of the employee to including personnel file completeness
To liaise with internal management on staffing levels To liaise with employees on expectations, job description, and other information pertinent to the position they're applying
Provide necessary followup with all parties (employees and management)
Complete investigations related to hiring practices and ensure corrective actions are communicated, implemented and sustained
Liaise with Management to familiarize with individual site requirements such as training and experience 
SKILLS
3 years of recruiting experience
Post secondary education is preferred Knowledge of Employment Law Strong sourcing and online social media recruitment skills
Solid background in behavioral based interviewing assessment techniques
Ability to recruit for a high volume of positions for all branches across Canada
Excellent communication, polished presentation, organizational and prioritizing skills
Excellent technical/computer skills in MS Word and Excel is required, along with recruiting software/online tools A valid G class driver's license with own vehicle
Duties
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives
Meeting with managers to discuss needs
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
Providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits
Making presentations; maintaining rapport Setup, book and execute various Job Fairs around the GTA Research and create specific job descriptions for external job postings
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites, cold calling potential applicants
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications
Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations Qualities
Demonstrates a high level of Honesty and Integrity in all aspects of job performance
Maintains personal hygiene in an appropriate and above average manner
Exhibits a professional, courteous manner at all times
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a full Ontario Driver's License with no restrictions
Must have a clean driver's abstract
Must be Bondable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
