Job Description:

The position will be responsible for recruiting Forklift / Power Industrial Truck Operators, and other General Labour roles. The incumbent will be accountable for posting job ads, creating and executing sourcing strategies and recruiting qualified candidates, as well as managing and maintenance of relationships with sourcing partners.

Responsibilities/ Requirements:
- Develop a talent pool of qualified candidates through various creative sourcing techniques (i.e., cold calls, referrals, professional organizations, recruitment advertising, internet sites, deep web searching, social and professional media, job fairs, Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck schools).
- Pre-screens candidates, conducts interviews and ensures compliant to the recruitment process to ensure that candidates are suitable for the client work environment.
- Fills and services specific client orders as required based on volume and needs of the team, including both temp and perm forklift operator opportunities.
- Understanding our clients¿ industries, work environments and needs to effectively intake, confirm and fill open order requirements
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling highly sensitive information.
- Maintain regular contact (follow-up) with candidates in order to maintain a relationship and keep Forklift employment opportunities in front of qualified candidates.
- Provides feedback and suggestion to helps plan recruitment strategy for assigned Onsite Managed Services accounts.
- Assists with the coordination of day to day activities of a recruitment team for Onsite Managed Services Accounts in a designated area ensuring that orders are filled effectively and efficiently based on client needs.
- Keep in contact with Forklift hiring managers to identify expectations, clarify process, and provide regular updates.

POSITION REQUIREMENT
- Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.


EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience within a recruitment and/or client services role.
- At least one year previous experience in a Recruitment role; preferably in a service oriented environment
- Past FL recruitment / warehouse working environment experience preferred

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of labour and employment laws
- Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications
