REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Adecco is currently hiring for a Regional Sales Manager in the Vancouver, BC area to work for one of our reputable clients. In this role, you will be part of a larger North American retail sales department that is growing, including brick and mortar and eCommerce customers. As a Regional Sales Managers, you will be responsible for selling products to all sales channels (non-eCommerce) with a focus on business growth, as well as creating and maintaining customer relationships to sell Company products in the assigned sales territory or region.

  • Assigned sales territory: Vancouver, BC
  • This is a home-based role that is ideally based in the Greater Vancouver area with a high requirement to travel when COVID conditions allow.   
  • Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the sales process excelling at generating leads, relationship building and closing sales.
  • Ongoing travel within the assigned territory 
  • Selling a collection of products within current/changing line of kitchenware brands
  • Generating and developing new customer accounts, meet business targets through effective territory management and customer touchpoints
  • Developing ongoing, profitable customer relationships while maintaining Company's reputation
  • Providing positive brand experiences to all customers
  • Developing and delivering presentations, highlighting products with high product knowledge
  • Maintaining ongoing awareness of comparable marketplace products and competitor activities
  • Participating in corporate marketing activities such as trade shows and conferences (when travel conditions post COVID allow)
  • Using Microsoft office, conducting virtual meetings/presentations on a daily basis
  • Using a sales CRM system to track sales opportunities including using excel for reporting
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in key account management sales experience in the kitchenware or houseware or consumer packaged goods industries (giftware experience an asset)
  • Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory through prospecting and developing customer relationships
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality with an ability to influence
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills, as well as ability to influence people
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based office
  • Must be willing to travel 80% of the time in the geographic territory
  • Experience with a CRM system and Microsoft Office with strong Excel knowledge for reporting
  • High level of integrity, passion for sales, strong work ethic, independent and strong self-managed approaches, personable, professional, sales leader
