  • Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for Canadian Residual Value Risk matters
  • This position is required to collaborate with leaders of across group functions to ensure the successful management of the residual value risk portfolio
  • Collaborate with senior management to launch appropriate residual values that maximize sales and profit objectives while minimizing residual value risk. This process is highly dependent on modeling historical performance along with new product expectations.
  • Manage the delivery of all Canadian RV matters
  • Development and application of overall RV models within Canada
  • Identify and implement the appropriate risk mitigating actions necessary to protect our client against extraordinary losses and/or take advantage of growth opportunities through the team’s ongoing Lease portfolio analysis.
  • Assist the GM as needed in lease portfolio securitization offerings to the capital markets. This includes preparation for investor road show presentations and extensive residual performance analysis and internal data support required for each new securitization offering.
  • Support Treasury with Investor meetings and is also the point of contact for external auditing related activities leading to year-end financial reporting
  • Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Automotive Experience would be a strong asset
  • 3 years in Residual Value Risk Management
  • 3 Year Portfolio Risk Assessment
  • Master’s Degree Min - Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics
  • Knowledge of Statistical modelling and testing techniques
  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check
