Adecco is currently hiring a Business Development Specialist for one of our clients, a high-end car manufacturer, located in North York. The ideal candidate would support all activities of the Business Development Department with specific focus on delivering detailed market analysis, dealer performance assessments, and identification of sales and service opportunities within the Client’s dealer network.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Market Analysis:
    1. Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for Management and Dealers that highlight and compare market performance by Dealer, Region, and National.
    2. Provide detailed analysis of current company performance.  Deliver enhanced financial and KPI reporting and analysis of monthly Dealer results. 
    3. Provide supporting data and recommendations to Regional Management to review and develop action plans with Dealers.
    4. Support the company’s long-term network planning process by utilizing software tools to complete market study’s which evaluate the opportunity to introduce new Company’s or new retail formats. Create reports, maps and presentations that will support Retail Development decisions.
    5. Calculate both current and future service capacity requirements by utilizing internal KPI’s, forecasted sales and current vehicles in operation data. 
    6. Identify additional market opportunities through cross-referencing registration data in the software mapping tool with existing customer data.
  • Assume role of internal subject matter expert (SME) – internal dealer financial analytics system, registration platform and mapping software. 
  • Manage the company internal website.  Support both internal and dealership users on a daily basis, addressing user access and setup concerns.
  • Support the administration of the Dealer Performance Margin Program and Premier Dealer Program.
  • Provide internal purchase process support – raising internal purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
  •  

    Qualifications:

     

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent background in related field of study
  • Prev. work experience in a corporate environment required, w/ Automotive Industry preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position (Market Analysis)
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, the Automotive Industry is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Bilingualism (strong written and verbal French communication skills) is an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Superior computer skills in Microsoft office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Data Mapping experience is an asset
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License required (in the event of required driving – rare/occasional)
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Keen and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex analytical issues
  • Ability to multi-task, while managing and overseeing multiple activities simultaneously
  • Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities

    Compensation and Hours:

     

  • $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
