Adecco is currently hiring for a part-time Retail Merchandiser for a temporary to potential permanent job opportunity at a Canadian grocery store. Get your foot in the door with our client, who values growth for its employees and has a friendly working environment.
Pay rate: $17/hour
Location: New Hamburg, ON
Shifts: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday to Wednesday (Potential to work Thursday)

Job responsibilities include:
Meets and exceeds client objectives by ensuring product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics
Ensure product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics
Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs
Prepare for and respond to audits
Manage time and prioritize for store call coverage
May provide feedback for client audit objectives
Other administrative and customer relation duties as assigned, such as completing paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Build rapport with clients and customers
Field questions to resolve issues
To qualify, you should:
Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and strong prioritization skills
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
Excellent customer service orientation
Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained
Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage
Previous experience in retail or sales, or working as a grocery clerk, customer service associate (cashier), or administrative assistant will be considered an asset
Previous experience working as a general labourer or warehouse worker will be considered an asset
