Adecco is currently hiring for a part-time Retail Merchandiser - Team Lead job for a temporary to potential permanent job opportunity at a Canadian grocery store. Get your foot in the door with our client, who values growth for its employees and has a friendly working environment.

To qualify for this role, you must have experience in retail reset merchandising and working with and using planograms.

  • Pay rate: $18/hour
  • Location: Carleton Place, ON
  • Shifts: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Wednesday (Potential for Thursday)

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Meets and exceeds client objectives by ensuring product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics
  • Ensure product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics
  • Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs
  • Prepare for and respond to audits
  • Manage time and prioritize for store call coverage
  • May provide feedback for client audit objectives
  • Other administrative and customer relation duties as assigned, such as completing paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
  • Build rapport with clients and customers
  • Field questions to resolve issues
  • To qualify, you should:

  • Previous experience in retail reset merchandising or working as a grocery clerk is required
  • Must have experience working with and using planograms
  • Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage
  • Previous experience in retail or sales, or customer service associate (cashier), or administrative assistant will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience working as a general labourer or warehouse worker will be considered an asset
