Adecco Canada is currently searching for a part-time Retail Stock Associate for the Nespresso Boutique in the Rideau Centre!

Nestlé Nespresso S.A. is the market leader in premium portioned coffee and one of the fastest growing operating businesses of the Nestlé Group. The Stock Associate role is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous stock experience within a retail setting. This will be an open-ended contract opportunity with chance of becoming permanent. We are currently searching for candidates available to work part-time hours during the evenings and weekends. The pay rate offered will be $15 per hour.


Stock Associate Mission:


• Ensure Boutique guests are provided with the highest cleanliness standards and appearance at all times.
• Ensure that every customer/club member receives a service in perfect conformance with Nespresso standards and corporate guidelines.



Key Responsibilities:


• Organize and maintain cleanliness of all Boutique storage areas in accordance to sanitation standards.
• Check/sweep, mop, and clean floor service areas including lobby windows and sidewalks.
• Check, clean bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.
• Check, empty and clean bar trashes, toilets trash and rags buckets.
• Ensure that all hands washing facilities (bar/pantry/toilets/basement) are provided with soap and hand drying device at all time.
• Report of any defective Boutique equipment to supervisor (Lightening, Plumbing, AC, locks.).
• Daily check /report any evidence of rodents/insects (droppings etc...) present in pantry, all garbage area, basement, storage room, sprinkler room.
• Put away daily food/beverage/machine/coffee deliveries as soon as received in appropriate places.
• Responsible of dry food, beverage and paper good inventory/ordering.
• Responsible for coffee/machine inventory



Qualifications:

• Minimum high school education; post-secondary education completed or in progress preferred
• Two years of experience handling stock in a retail environment
• Knowledge of coffee (products, accessories, machines etc.) would be a definite advantage
• Must be customer service oriented
• Punctuality and discipline including hygiene / food safety
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Pleasing personality as an ambassador of Nespresso (premium positioning)
• Proactive and responsive to anticipate and fulfill customer needs
• Fluency in English; bilingualism in English and French a definite asset
• Availability to work part-time hours during the evenings and weekends is a must
