Adecco is currently hiring for an RF Engineer for our client located in Ottawa, ON to work on a series of contracts and projects. The Ideal Candidate for the RF Engineer position will have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University and a minimum of 10 years experience working within the Land Mobile Radio Industry. The Ideal candidate will also have A minimum of 2 years’ demonstrated experience working with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISEDC) and their related licensing and regulations. = and posses an active secret level clearance.

Our client has partnered with two-way radio vendors to provide solutions in the areas of two-way radio infrastructure, antenna systems, and all things wireless. Our client puts the customers first, providing the highest quality of customer service, and tailoring solutions to fit unique customer requirements.
The position is open to start as soon as possible. The hours are flexible between Monday to Friday. Vacation and benefits included along with a competitive salary.


RF Engineer Job Requirements:

- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University is required to be considered. A copy of the professional designation and degree must be provided.
- Valid Secret Level Clearance required to be considered for the position
- A minimum of 10 years’ demonstrated experience working within the Land Mobile Radio industry.
- A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in the large-scale deployment of public safety radio systems (a minimum of 3 sites, with a total of 300 users, supporting system-wide roaming and at least one dispatch console tied to the system)
- A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience with Public Safety P25 radio systems.
- A minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience with the design and support of trunking-based radio technology.
- A minimum of 3years’ demonstrated experience with the design and support of simulcast based radio technology.
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in the design and supporting of conventional based radio systems technology
- A minimum of 2 years’ demonstrated experience, of working with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISEDC) and their related licensing and regulations.

- The candidate must have prepared, developed and completed a minimum of three different of the following types of documents **Please provide examples of these three different documents:

-Design(s)

-Coverage Predictions
-Acceptance Test Pans
-Engineering Analysis
-RF standards or guidelines
-Field Analysis/Troubleshooting reports
-Capacity Analysis
-
The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of one instance of working with a Radio Frequency (RF) Prediction tool.
