Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Safety Administrator in Calgary, AB, to work a 1- year contract at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this diverse role, you will provide administrative support for our team of 2 field safety representatives whose scope covers our terminals, refineries, and retail destinations across Canada for multiple product streams

  • Pay Rate: $30- 35/ hour
  • Location: Calgary, AB | Hybrid (SEC 3 days, work from home 2 days)
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday | 8 hours per day
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary | 1-year contract | Start ASAP
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide incident tool workflow advance, and admin functions
  • Work with vendors to ensure receiving timely documentation for entry into Enablon
  • Develop monthly stewardship reporting
  • Assist with incident investigations
  • Manage the reporting of incident KPI
  • Assist in creating newsletters/bulletins
  • Assist in processing invoices for payment
  • Assist in coordinating safety blitzes
  • Attend safety meetings as scribe, communicate notes & action items
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Min 2-5 years of Health & safety or Field administrator experience within the Oil & Gas Industry is a must.
  • Post-secondary education, a diploma in health & safety is an asset
  • Experience in safety is an asset
  • Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) is needed, fluency in French is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required
  • Good communication skills and time management skills are crucial for success
  • A team player, capable of adapting to change and handling shifting priorities
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
