Sales Administrator


Adecco is looking for a Sales Administrator for our new manufacturing and distribution client, they have a newly opened facility in Ottawa, ON. This position is from Monday to Friday. This Client is offering a competitive salary and bonus along with a generous benefits and vacation package.

This role is a hybrid cross-functional role - mostly sales/customer service base.  Candidate would also be comfortable in being trained on some manufacturing and warehousing processes and required to help out in that domain when needed.

  • Ideal candidate must have means of transportation to commune to office. 
  • The role is 100% onsite
  • There’s potential for travel etc once COVID is under control as we attend a lot of trade shows and regularly have staff visit our other locations
  • 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Client has a global presence with 5 offices (UK, US, Canada, Germany & Australia) and they are still privately owned
  • The team is 2 individuals right now  
  • They are the world’s largest company producing detectable product, and they are growing fairly quickly which means, they are a safe option regarding stability.

  • The Sales Administrator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Generate and close new opportunities
  • Accurately process orders
  • Process and resolve customer queries via phone, email and online chat system
  • Work closely with team members and other departments
  • Willingness to learn several manufacturing and warehousing processes with a view to supporting these job functions when required
  • Provide a professional and excellent level of customer service with existing and new customers
  • The Sales Administrator must meet the following qualifications:

  • 2+ Years’ experience in a sales office environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Self-motivated
  • Desire for continuous personal and professional development
  • Valid Passport
  • Driving License and reliable
