Roevin Recruitment, a division of The Adecco Group, is currently searching for a Sales Engineer (Brewery Equipment) for our client, a leader in state-of-the-art technology in the food and beverage processing industry.  The Sales Engineer will focus on national sales within the beverage Industry, and specifically in the Craft Brewery Market and will serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services. The Regional Sales Engineer (RSE) will be responsible for selling the product portfolio into the fruit juice, wine, cider, citrus, coffee, tea and plant-based beverages markets – with a specific strength with breweries, and their process equipment needs.  You will be joining a leading organisation, with an impressive portfolio of reliable equipment and known brands, as well as a competitive compensation and benefits package.  If you are a technical sales leader in this market, and would like to hear about taking your career to the next level, let’s talk…

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Sales Engineer (Brewery Equipment)

•    Technical post-secondary education (mechanical / chemical engineering oriented is ideal) would be preferred.
•    3+ years of brewery industry sales experience, selling brew process equipment.
•    Experience with processing of fluids in beverage Industry or similar technologies
•    Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate technical data and complicated engineering systems.
•    Effective ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
•    Good interpersonal skills and can work well in a team setting - as well as independently.
•    70% travel should be expected with this role.  Working out of home office, remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Sales Engineer (Brewery Equipment)

•    Establishes new accounts by reviewing market analyses and determining customer needs and potential sales.
•    Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing a personal rapport with potential and existing customers. Prepares and presents technical and sales presentations at industry seminars and to customers.
•    Assists with preparing cost estimates by reviewing project plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, designers, and other professional and technical personnel.
•    Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
•    Coordinates sales activities with other groups or departments with related product lines and applications. Assists with writing proposals, preparing and negotiating final contract including pricing terms and conditions. Ensures clear communication and hand-off to project management team; post order.
•    Participates in tradeshows and other marketing activities to increase sales volume.
