Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time (37.5-40 hours per week) Furniture Sales Representative for a leading furniture and home decor store based in Ottawa, ON. Our client is looking for a Sales Associate with experience selling furniture or large home décor (or similar), a friendly personality, customer-oriented attitude and an interest in home furnishings. Our client strives on team work environment and quality customer service.

The successful candidate must be available to work weekdays including evening shifts, as well as weekends.

The ideal candidate has open availability to comply with full time requirements;  Monday to Sunday, between 10:00 AM to 9:00 pm - 5 days a week( full time hours)

The  Furniture Sales Representative  will be responsible for:

  • Drawing in previous selling experience to maintain monthly sales quotas
  • Assisting customers in the selection of high-end furniture and other store merchandise.
  • Closing sales and completing follow ups for the customer's future needs
  • Providing continuous assistance in maintaining enticing and appealing product displays

The Furniture Sales Representative candidate must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • 3 years minimum experience in retail sales
  • Strong experience with furniture sales or other larger home decor sales
  • Committed to meeting personal goals and team goals
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to meet and surpass customer expectations
  • A dynamic and outgoing personality
  • Ability to work with layouts/ displays and colour coordination
  • Bilingualism in French and English considered an asset
