Adecco Quinte has immediate openings for experienced Sanitation Workers to work with a local food manufacturing site in the Quinte Region. Key requirements are the ability to work full-time hours (students are not accepted for these roles), the availability to work various shifts including days and overnights, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the role including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Candidates must have prior experience in a cleaning/janitorial role, with preference given to those with experience working in a food manufacturing capacity. Rate of Pay: $18.00/hour + Shift/Sunday Premiums

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Focus on quality and customer satisfaction while complying with all policies and procedures of the Health and Safety and Food Safety program regulations;
  • Rinse, wash, and sanitize all equipment and utensils and facility areas including sweep and mop of floors, doors and sinks used daily in Wet and dry Packaging;
  • Rinse and foam the production areas and coolers;
  • Wash and sanitize spice bins, vacuum machines and labeling equipment;
  • Accurate completion of all required documents and sanitation procedures;
  • Follow all GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements;
  • Comply with all Saputo Trenton Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality regulations;
  • Comply with all Saputo Trenton policies and procedures;
  • Comply, and ensure that all work is performed safely while following OH&S, WSIB, and company policies and procedures;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma;
  • Food/dairy/manufacturing experience an asset;
  • 1 -2 years in Janitorial or Sanitation jobs an asset;
  • Proven ability to handle physically demanding work;
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills;
  • Strong hand coordination and ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math;
  • Have good management of priorities, be responsible and have initiative;
  • Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
