Adecco is currently recruiting for an SAP FICO Business System Analyst. This is a full-time permanent role to work with our client located in Ottawa, ON.
The SAP FICO Business System Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

  • Understanding the business issues and data challenges of the business user’s organization;
  • Developing relationships with business users;
  • Analyzing business requirements, maps and documents technical requirements;
  • Communicating effectively, and managing expectations;
  • Configuring SAP to meet business requirements as needed;
  • Developing functional specifications aligned to business requirements when no SAP standard functionality exists;
  • Working with development team in delivering quality solutions;
  • Testing SAP configurations confirming they support functional specifications and business requirements;
  • Suggesting areas for improvement in internal processes along with recommended solutions;
  • Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction;
  • Assisting in the organization of team and client meetings;
  • Delivering informative, well-organized presentations.

The SAP FICO Business System Analyst must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any related field;
  • 5 years minimum of related work experience;
  • 5 years minimum of work experience as an SAP FICO functional or business analysis;
  • FICO experience with a focus on AR/AP and Treasury (Invoicing to Payment) processes;
  • Superior analytical, problem solving and judgment skills;
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both individual and team situations;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing activities across multiple lines of business and geographical locations;
  • Strong change management, communications and conflict management skills;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, challenging and changing work environment;
  • Work experience setting up bank accounts, Electronic Funds Transfer, PreAuthorized Payment, Electronic Bank Statements, settlement rules, cash journal is an asset;
  • Work experience setting up company codes, GL planning and Budget uploads, changes to the Chart of Account and Asset accounting is considered an asset;
  • Experience in SAP ECC 6.0 is preferred;
  • Understanding of PS and Procurement is an asset.
