Are you an outstanding SAP inventory Planner? Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time SAP Inventory Planner in Calgary, AB, to work a 1-Year contract at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this diverse role, you will be performing exploratory data analysis to cleanse, maintain governance, and optimize settings on MRP inventory master data.

  • Pay Rate: $50-$90 / hour, based on experience
  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Job type: Full-time |1-year Contract

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and cleanse large data sets to accomplish further in-depth analysis
  • Maintain information records as required to assure auditability
  • Perform order controls, including stock plan additions, increases, decreases, or removals
  • Apply SAP Material Master settings according to the MRP Parameter Matrix
  • Drive compliance for Inventory policies, internal controls, standards, and processes

    • Requirements and Qualifications: Requirements:

  • A Supply Chain or Operations professional designation is needed
  • Apics / ASCM - CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTD is an asset. 
  • Minimum 6-10+ years’ work experience in Inventory Planning, material management and in data analysis is needed
  • Expertise with Inventory and Operations Management is a must
  • Should have advanced understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Materials Management strategies, and formulas for statistical analysis using material criticality, service levels, and standard deviation for determining stocking decisions.
  • Experience in performing exploratory data analysis for inventory demand, material MRP master data, and material consumption patterns is needed
  • Advanced technical competency in SAP S/4 and extensive knowledge with the SAP Material Management (MM) modules is a must
  • Familiarity with the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) module and material master MRP settings is also needed
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, ServiceNow and MS Office Suite is crucial for success
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
