Adecco is currently hiring for a two Scrap Yard Operators in Mississauga. To qualify for this Scrap Yard Operator role, the candidate should be comfortable working outdoors in all seasons. Our client is a leader in mini-mill steel production and steel recycling in North America. The Pay will be $18.

Scrap Yard Operator Responsibilities:

Follow all established Safety, Environmental, and Routine procedures specific to the yard.       
• Assist co-workers in daily operational duties that are essential to the yard in terms of safety, efficiency, and profitability
• Inspect and verify scrap for grade before redirecting them inside the yard.        
• Working outdoors for the entire shift, helping with landscaping, painting and other work as instructed           
Provide excellent customer service
Work involves a variety of tasks, simple through moderately complex in nature, requiring some care to ensure correct procedures are being followed                                              

Qualifications:

High School Education preferred   
Promote and practice the core values of our client           
Positive attitude and willingness to work   
Experience working outdoors would be an asset   
• Comfortable working in dirty and noisy conditions
