Adecco is currently hiring for a Senior Account Executive in Toronto, ON. In order to be considered for this Senior Account Executive position the successful candidate needs to have 5+ years experience in a Business Development capacity.

Our client provides companies with the support needed to manoeuvre their way through the complexities of modernizing traditional data center infrastructure and capitalizing on the value created by transformation. Our client is located within the GTA and pride themselves on a good work life balance, continual education and training to their employees. They are growing rapidly and are looking for a Senior Account Executive that is ambitious and looking to grow with them. This includes the Senior Account Executive having access to a team of experts to help qualify and sell the services on offer to the end user.


For this Senior Account Executive opportunity, our client is offering a generous package of between $75,000 to $85,000 base salary, dependent on experience + a competitive commission structure, continuing education, full benefits and tremendous room for growth within the organization.


Senior Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Manage all software sales and field marketing duties for your territory to create new business.
  • Work in concert with the sales and marketing team to better align company goals and tactics, including prospecting and lead generation.
  • Lead collection and follow up from industry and partner events.
  • Conduct research to identify market trends and industry events that our client can address with their services and solutions.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to align the correct services with the end user’s needs.
  • Work closely with key vendors to build relationships and create opportunities.
  • Maintain and update sales records and prepare sales reports as required in the client’s database.
  • Develop, plan and execute customer-facing events such as user groups, hands on workshops and industry seminars.

Senior Account Executive Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is an asset.
  • 5+ years in IT/software sales/business development.
  • Previous vendor and/or reseller experience a definite advantage.
  • Local and possibly regional travel expected, with regular phone activity.
  • Proficient in MS Office, and CRM systems.
  • Must able to work well in a group and independently.
