Adecco is currently recruiting for a full time permanent Senior Accountant job in Surrey, BC.  Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and completing numerous financial accounting duties in a hands on role.

Our client is a well established distribution company operating multiple branches across Canada and the United States.  They are offering a competitive base salary, benefits, vacation and a stable, friendly and healthy work environment.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Support daily cash flow analysis, the financial statement process and bank reconciliations.
  • Responsible for fixed asset and capital lease maintenance and payment processing.
  • Assist in interim and yearly audits.
  • Perform monthly analysis of GL accounts and complex reconciliations.

    Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will be a recent CPA graduate or near completion.
  • You will possess a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Possess excellent organizational, analytical and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task to meet deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
  • A team player who is self motivated, career minded and highly detailed.
