Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Senior Business Analyst in Calgary, AB to work for our client, one of the largest and fastest growing Comprehensive Community College. If you are an engaging people person with strong knowledge in current IT systems and know how to apply these to the development and execution of improvement action plans by providing advice, guidance and best practices, integrations, and application delivery, this job is for you!

  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • Job type: Temporary (4 to 6 months) | Full time

    • Responsibilities:

  • Assist the College with Redesign initiatives and working with the five Vice President portfolios at the College
  • Understand the current landscape for all processes within and between portfolios and to map the College landscape ahead of any process re-engineering work
  • Gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements
  • Responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues
  • Document all business, user and functional requirements, workflows, processes, and any artifacts in adherence to standard methodology and effectively communicate these to all stakeholders
  • Complete and document thorough gap analysis activities for relevant projects assigned
  • Understands and evaluates the impacts of changing business/functional processes within client environments
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of Business Analyst experience in application roles and permissions
  • Experience in gathering reporting requirements
  • Ability to work through systems prototyping and help define process and requirements from the prototyping
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexible for taking on tasks to support the project team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio Experience and Lean Six Sigma
  • Strong documentation focus for operational and system processes
  • Formal certification in Business Analysis such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional or Change Management Certification is an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
