Senior Business Analyst, Supply Chain

Adecco is currently hiring for permanent, full-time Senior Business Analyst in Markham, ON, for our client, a multinational manufacturer and market leading company. Our client owns a diverse portfolio of brands, distributed internationally through both digital commerce and retail channels. To qualify for this role, you must have previous supply chain experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in determining the approach and methodology that best suits the task requirements and client environment
  • Serve as a functional/domain expert on the project team
  • Work as a technical support and liaison to designated IT personnel to provide clarification, support and feedback on enhancement requests and regular updates/releases; adhere to release schedules
  • Identify, quantify, and manage project delivery tasks and risks
  • Extrapolate core project requirements based on client needs and translate the requirements into project documentation
  • Lead the design and associated documentation of multiple IT projects by creating requirements documents, use cases, user stories, workflows, wireframes, and mockups
  • Liaise with the Business to identify Business Needs and development of Business Cases to justify investments
  • Collaborate with Technical and Business resources through the analysis of Project Demands and provide leadership and support to Project Demand approval
  • Manage and guide Business Analysts working on same projects to ensure project success
  • Prepare and execute test scripts and document test results with minimal direction from a lead or project manager
  • Identify and define problems and present options for mitigation
  • Understand the elements of user experience and visual design and the application and benefits of a user-centered design process in the delivery of solutions
  • Coordinate requirements walk-through and signoffs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs
  • Maintain a cursory understanding of new and emerging technologies and their potential client applications
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with Manufacturing and Distribution organizations
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain Processes (i.e. Order Management, Distribution, Quality, New Product Launch, 3PL)
  • Experience and expertise in Warehousing and Logistics, Manufacturing, QA and Health and Safety
  • Strong production capabilities in PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, Excel, JIRA, Confluence
  • Functional knowledge of ERP modules and functionalities (e.g. SAP)
  • Experience working with/or the ability to quickly learn & master a variety of technologies
  • Experienced in traditional SDLC and Agile frameworks
  • Independent and creative analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and confirm understanding
  • An analytical mind that can break down complex problems into solvable components
  • Demonstrated writing skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for taking on a dynamic portfolio of responsibilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
