Adecco is currently hiring for a Senior Business Development Executive in downtown Toronto. To be considered for this Senior Business Development Executive position the successful candidate needs to have between 4 and 7 years of Inside Sales experience.

As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting businesses in the financial services industry as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. Our client, a global leader in market analysis, reporting and forecasting, will designate a defined territory for you to develop, with the support of a global marketing team.

Our client has offices across the globe and is offering a generous compensation package including a base salary of $60,000 - $70,000, an uncapped commission structure, an annual performance related bonus, plus 14 days paid vacation and standard benefits.

Senior Business Development Executive Responsibilities:

Strong stakeholder management skills by ascertaining prospect / client’s needs, addressing all issues and the ability to identify and pursue suitable targets for initial complimentary trial periods.
In addition to hunting prospects, ability to identify and consult with prospects and existing clients, the services that would best suit their needs.
Following the initial trial period, expectation is for the trialist to take up an annual subscription. Ability to analyse the feedback, ascertain their needs and negotiate will be needed for this to be achieved.
Responsible for order entry, invoicing/billing, payment for subscriptions and aftercare and account management once subscription has been purchased.
Expected to attend external events to promote our client’s services. These may take place outside normal working hours.

Senior Business Development Executive Mandatory Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of customer service-based solutions selling within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close.
High energy, hunter personality, with experience developing business through cold calling, email and other forms of networking / engaging with C-Level prospects and clients.
Weekly reporting to senior management.
Manage existing accounts with monthly touch-points, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal.
Superior organization, prioritization, independent work and time management skills.
Highly proficient computer skills including working with CRM Systems.
