Ideally you will bring 7+ years of relevant experience in Building Engineering and Project Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Remedial building envelope design, preparation of specifications/drawings, construction budget estimates, and contract administration.

  • Site inspection review of new construction and building rehabilitation projects.

  • Visual and destructive investigations to produce technical engineering reports.

  • Building envelope assessments, building condition assessments, roof condition assessments, reserve fund studies and performance testing.

  • Technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.

  • Various other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • 3-year (Advanced) diploma in Architectural Technology.

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including on-site inspections and reporting services.

  • Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and co-workers.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills, for concurrent handling of multiple in-progress projects.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

  • Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • Proficiency using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
