Adecco is looking to hire a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Mississauga, ON. The Senior Recruitment Consultant will focus on overseeing the recruitment and placement process within the branch while ensuring that the needs of Adecco's clients are met.

Senior Recruitment Consultant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and evaluates client and prospect assignment requests, determining feasibility and ensuring that new client credit information is processed and approved
  • Fills and services client orders efficiently through the interviewing, testing, hiring and placing of temporary and permanent associates.
  • Identifies qualified candidates through this process to create an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demand
  • Supervises temporary associates while on assignment, assessing skills, evaluating their work performance and providing appropriate coaching/counseling.  Conducts career advancement programs to improve on various job performance factors
  • Supports the Program Delivery Manager to ensure that financial goals and objectives are met or exceeded while maintaining full compliance on all Adecco policies and procedures.  Provides accurate, timely and complete daily performance analyses
  • Consults and coordinates with Sales colleagues, the Branch Manager and/or Area Manager to better understand our clients’ needs, maximize the level of service, encourage relationship building, provide cost effective service solutions for customer demands, and strategize on methodologies to achieve and exceed Adecco’s financial goals
  • May be required to supervise and direct the work activities of Recruitment Consultants, coaching, developing and providing feedback when required
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Senior Recruitment Consultant Requirements:

  • Completion of post- secondary education in Human Resources or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility 
  • Minimum of four (4) years related experience, ideally in a service- oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of labour and employment laws
  • Experience/ Knowledge of Human Resources best practices and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with an ability to influence and motivate others. 
  • Possesses superior organizational skills. Is able to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently. Disciplined in timely follow up with prospect and clients.
  • Proactive and able to solve problems effectively and rapidly using excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven consistently high levels of customer service performance, with an ability to build strong client and candidate relationships and identify opportunities for new business.
  • Ability to confidently source and approach prospects, utilizing excellent presentation skills
  • Displays a willingness to cooperate as part of a team, assisting others when required
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.  May be required to work overtime and/or travel within region
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
