Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Telecom Architect for a 8.5-month contract with possibility of extension with our Crown Corporation Client located in Ottawa Nepean, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for one.

The Senior Telecom Architect will have the following responsibilities:
-    Participates as a top level technical expert in leading multiple consulting projects or a single large/complex project. 
-    Ensures the success of enterprise-level application rollouts. 
-    Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems, and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications. 
-    Contributes in the planning of the overall organizational IT strategy. 

The Senior Telecom Architect must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-    10+ years of experience
-    Enterprise architecture vision shaping ; 
-    Executive counsel for strategic planning; 
-    Knowledge of the current and emergent vendor offerings; 
-    Experience at deploying voice and data network solutions that leverage new paradigms (Intelligent WAN, SDWAN, Unified communications, virtualized networks, soft phones, mobility integration); 
-    Proven successes in key roles within some of the largest IT transformation programs achieved nationally and globally in recent years; 
-    Drafting and negotiating SOWs and SLAs for major sourcing agreements (including with the major Canadian telcos and vendors); 
-    Great record at implementing best practices, good documentation and lasting knowledge transfer
