Service Manager

Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time, permanent Service Manager in Kelowna, BC, for our client, a well-established service provider and operating facilities in Western Canada. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a mid-sized sales and service company while training, coaching, and mentoring a team of Service Technicians in a fast-paced environment.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day to day operations of the service department
  • Train, mentor, and coach the team of Service Technicians
  • Conduct and host daily meetings for staff scheduling regarding daily service calls
  • Be the point of contact for customer issues troubleshooting and problem-solving when required
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with networking and marketing initiatives/activities
  • Learn all office and computer-related procedures to be able to provide office support when needed
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and organized warehouse
  • Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in a service/production supervisory or management role
  • Experience in employee oversight including training and mentoring a large team of service employees
  • Familiarity and experience in overseeing various day-to-day office functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a variety of software packages
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to problem-solve
  • Professional presentation with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills with the proven ability to handle and solve customer issues when required
  • Reliable and dedicated team player with a positive attitude
