Our client has an opportunity for a dedicated and qualified individual to take on the role of Service Representative-Pensions Administration to be based out of the Calgary Regional office.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing pension benefit calculations and option packages; processing pension benefit payments in accordance with Plan rules;
  • Communicating with plan beneficiaries, trust fund advisors, service organizations, local unions, and regional offices;
  • Maintaining member records and benefit payment files;
  • Meeting with plan members to assist in the completion of applicable forms/documents;
  • Assisting with Reception relief as required; Assisting with special projects and preparation of meeting material; and
  • Other administrative duties as required such as filing, processing incoming/outgoing mail and monitoring office supplies.
You will have three plus year's of experience working within a pension benefit payment team or within insurance or payroll administration.  Working knowledge of iSeries (an asset) and MS Word and Excel is required to execute this role.  Your customer service partnered with your communication skills (written and verbal) are key attributes to prioritize multiple projects this role offers.  Strong aptitude for figures is a must for this role.
