Adecco is currently hiring for a Settlements Officer II in Edmonton, Alberta. To qualify for the Settlements Officer II role you must have previous experience in back office work, strong Microsoft Office skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who have ability to work well with team members and ensuring accountability are met within set timelines. Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the financial services industry. This is a 6-months contract position (part-time/rotational shift) with a pay rate of $19.85 per hour.

           

Settlements Officer II Responsibilities:

  • Working in an administrative capacity completing a combination of data entry
  • Work on investigating and balancing functions
  • Complete data entry, and teller entry postings
  • Performs general to specialized transactions or other processing activities
  • Work in an administrative capacity completing a combination of RightFax processing
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office Applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Be an effective team player and flexible in adjusting to work priorities
  • Manage efficiently in a multi-tasked environment and ensure deadlines are met

 Settlements Officer II Qualifications:

  • Highly organized - able to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities under tight time frames.
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task and effectively manage a variety of tasks.
  • A self-starter with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment where flexibility, keeping others informed and diversity is valued.
  • Demonstrated discretion and independent judgment when dealing with highly sensitive matters.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and relationship builder - manage expectations and deal effectively and professionally with stakeholders across various levels.
  • Possess strong technical proficiency with software applications/programs and/or department specific systems as required (i.e. MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  •  Part-time/rotational shifts 7:00 am-6:00 pm M-F
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • 2 years data entry experience required.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
