Adecco is currently hiring for a Settlements officer II in Edmonton. To qualify for the Settlements officer II role, you must be able to work rotational shift 7AM - 6PM and have the ability to multitask in a challenging environment, pay attention to detail, showcase excellent customer service skills and have previous Financial / Banking Industry experience.

 

For the role of a Settlements officer II, we are looking for individuals who have strong experience with Microsoft Office & Internet Explorer, can type 40 WPM, and can multitask efficiently. Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the financial services industry. This is a 3 months contract position.

 

Settlements officer II Responsibilities:

  • Working in an administrative capacity completing a combination of data entry, clerical, investigations and balancing functions
  • Telephone contact may be required
  • Provide a broad range of operational support and/or performs general to specialized transactions or other processing activities
  • Work in an administrative capacity completing a combination of RightFax processing, data entry, teller entry postings, investigations and balancing functions
  • Will be demonstrating flexibility by adapting to change within business area and unit
  • Actively participate in any cross-skilling/training opportunities within the business unit
  • Positively contribute to the overall customer experience and loyalty index in each interaction
  • Create and/or recognize exceptional customer service through established programs
  • Provide subject matter expertise for internal and external partners within defined area
  • Working in an administrative capacity completing a combination of tasks

 

Settlements officer II Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years’ experience as a Customer Service/Operations Officer working with clients over the phone
  • Strong oral and written communications skills coupled with excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Possess excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexible in task assignment
  • Excellent English Communications skills both Verbally and Written
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer
  • Administration work and some customer service experience
  • Previous banking experience would be an asset
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm
  • Minimum High School Degree/Diploma (Preferred Post-Secondary)
