Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary to permanent, full-time Shipper/Receiver to work at one of the largest wholesale suppliers of electrical appliances in Canada, located in North Vancouver, BC.   • Pay rate: $20/hour
  • Location: North Vancouver, BC
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM- 4:30 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent
  • Transit Access: yes

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck
  • Operate a Wire Coil Machine
  • Lift items weighing up to 50 Lbs
  • Load and unload shipments by hand and with a Stand-Up Reach Truck
  • Prepare and stack pallets
  • Sort freight
  • Verify goods received and check for damaged goods
  • Enter shipping information into the computer
  • Help customers with their orders

    •  Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Must have a minimum of Gr 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of related experience is an asset.
  • A valid forklift certificate for Stand-Up Reach Truck is needed
  • Should have CSA-approved steel-toe boots
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must be a team player with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to follow verbal and/or written work instructions and techniques
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Should have excellent communication skills
  • Must have 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
