  • Pay rate: $36/Hour
  • Location: Markham, ON
  • Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM | Monday to Friday

  • Responsibilities:

  • Providing factory build commits to Global MPS Planner
  • Updating sequencing strategies and production calendars (In-House) and generating finite production schedule for factories
  • Reviewing factory capacity utilization and validating resource capacity assumptions
  • Receiving build requests from Global MPS Planner and providing build commits
  • Developing finite schedule based on MPS plan; aligning finite schedule with production and receiving sign-off
  • Monitoring plan to execution (production) adherence; highlighting deviation to Global MPS Planner
  • Reviewing factory capacity utilization, setting up changeovers and determining production constraints
  • Working with material scheduler to ensure feasibility of finite schedule; be able to together to resolve any immediate material constraints impacting production
  • Releasing production orders to shop floor and managing/overseeing of plant SAR
  • Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in manufacturing, supply planning, and finite scheduling (production scheduling)
  • Experience and knowledge of supply planning and finite scheduling tools (e.g., SAP, OM Partners, etc.) is preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with production sequencing, economic batch quantity calculation and other related finite scheduling techniques is preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills in English – Written and Verbal
  • Must have knowledge of the interactions and interplays between supply and demand in the executional horizon, with a focus on finite scheduling 
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills; quick to react and respond to changes
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail – ability to accurately manage, update, maintain large datasets
