This reputable production/service company requires a Site Manager to be their representative in this startup operation, selecting staff, organizing the entire production as per their company's directives, manage staff, production, and business lines, making their first Canadian location a success!

Responsibilities:
Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Must have 3-7 years previous management experience in a manufacturing/production sector
Have proven capabilities to lead a team of employees at arm's length from head office
Ability and knowledge to costs, scheduling, and P&L results
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
Ability to travel to the US for meetings and to observe other company locations (first 3 weeks will be spent in USA)
Previous experience hiring, managing, coaching, and training new employees
Ability to manager Health and Safety and to set up new facilities to code.
Post-secondary education in business/production or manufacturing sectors
Must pass criminal backgrounds
MUST HAVE A CURRENT PASSPORT
