Adecco Technologies is currently looking for an Automation Software Developer for a high-tech company for the mining industry. The company is located in Montreal and is close to Square-Victoria-ICAO station. Responsabilities : - Software programming of automated tests - Gatekeeper of quality for his Scrum Team through automated tests and manual exploratory tests - Responsible for contributing to software test automation in following technologies: Linux Central Server proessing/PostgreSQL - DB/Javascript/PHP front-end web console - Direct and design in house test automation framework which includes (fuctionnal, load, system) - Keeping on top of emerging software products, programming languages, and standards related to programming test automation - Characterization of the in-house system - Help the team by doing software development not related to automated test, if needed Qualifications : - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Sciences, or equivalent combination of education and years of relevant experience - 5+ years of experience in Software development - Working knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, MSQL and more - Experience in more than one programming and scripting language: Python, Php, Perl, C/C++, Bash, Go and more - Test automation & performance test tools like Robot framework, WinRunner, LoadRunner, FitNesse (an asset) - Ability to design test software framework - Continuous build frameworks like Gitlab, Jenkins, TeamCity, CruiseControl or Bamboo - Be results oriented - Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies (asset) - Methodical, organized, responsive and team player - Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites a couple of weeks in a year, if necessary
