Adecco is currently hiring for experienced Solderers for our client in Ottawa East. This is a full time contract opportunity with potential to turn permanent based on performance and business. We are offering day time hours Monday to Friday. Hourly rate of pay to be determined based on level of experience, in the range of $20-21/hour.

Solderer Requirements:
-    Assembling circuit boards and assemblies per drawings and operational work orders
-    Interpreting engineering drawings, schematics and work orders and prepares components for assembly
-    Compiles materials for Kit builds as required
-    Trims component leads, bends component leads, and assembles subassemblies and other component prep operations
-    Manually inserts components into printed circuit boards
-    Hand solder various electronic components to printed circuit boards, and inspects solder joints
-    Assemble and connect wire harnesses
-    Crimp terminals to wire cables
-    Performs simple to complex hand soldering operations
-    Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

Solderer Requirements: 
-    Post-secondary diploma in related discipline
-    Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
-    Soldering
-    Workmanship certification IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001 is an asset
-    Strong communication skills, both oral and written
-    Capable of working well individually as well as part of a team
-    Strong attention to detail

Solderer Assets:
-    Knowledge of military and aerospace quality standards including those of NASA and ESA
-    Knowledge of other workmanship requirements such as NASA and ESA
