Adecco is currently recruiting for a Stock Clerk for a 1-Month contract  that is starting Thursday November 28th and going until the end of December with the possibility of extension. Our client is located in Kanata, ON. This opportunity is a full-time position, operating primarily Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm. The rate of pay is $15/hr

*Must also be available to work the first Saturday of the contract November 30th from 10am to 3pm.

 

The Stock Clerk will have the following responsibilities: 
-Unload all supplies from delivery sources to the necessary locations;
-Refill and organize store inventory according to business needs;
-Scan and update the quantities of all items in the store inventory;
-Record inventory data manually or on a computer as necessary;
-Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms and shelves;
-Identify and replace any damaged products;
-Assist other team members to accomplish tasks more efficiently;
-General inventory management responsibilities.
- Additional tasks may be requried that can include light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, wiping shelves and disposing of the garbage/recycling.

 

The Stock Clerk must meet the following mandatory requirements: 
-Must hold a at least a Secondary School Diploma or GED;
-Written, Oral and Spoken skills in English;
-Exceptional Organizational Skills;
-Strong Interpersonal Communication;
-Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time;
-Physically capable of routinely bending to lift up to 15 pounds.

 

Nice to have:
-Experience in Retail or Merchandising;
-Written, Oral and Spoken skills in French;
-Experience in Stock Management.
