Adecco is currently recruiting to a full time permanent Store Manager – Aftermarket/Automotive Parts in Elk Point, AB.  The Store Manager – Aftermarket/Automotive Parts will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of a mid-sized retailer who specializes in automotive and industrial aftermarket parts.  You will be responsible for staffing, payroll, clients, inventory and financial management ensuring store operations within your scope run smoothly on a daily basis.  Our client is a well established automotive parts retailer operating branches in multiple provinces.  They are offering a competitive base salary, benefits, RSP match and 3 weeks vacation to work in this high volume, fast paced location.

Store Manager – Aftermarket/Automotive Parts Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial results of your branch and market.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales by implementing approved marketing programs.
  • Ensure employees are trained and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide updates to staff on new initiatives, financial performance, goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with key customers in the region to ensure their needs are met from a product, delivery, and price standpoint.
  • Conduct store audits and auditing internal controls for cash, accounts receivable and inventory as required.
  • Improving profitability by increased sales and market share, expense control and manage a positive cash flow by achieving sales budgets, maintaining payroll costs within budget, controlling operating expenses and managing all corporate assets including accounts receivable and inventory.
  • Lead with a positive attitude and bring solutions to problems.
  • Qualifications:

  • The Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years direct related work experience in a similar role.
  • You will have several years of product knowledge in the automotive parts industry and/or industrial aftermarket industry serving clients in the energy sector coupled with several years of supervisory experience in a similar setting.
  • The ability to manage up to and including P&L responsibility.
  • Strong communicator who is a hands on leader.
  • Multi-tasker who is able to manage multiple branches.
  • Intermediate level experience in MSOffice including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid drivers license with the ability to travel.
