Adecco is currently hiring for permanent, full-time, Store Manager to work at a well-established and dynamic Canadian company majoring in home furnishings located in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience working with luxury brands and be an enthusiastic and collaborative individual who is highly customer focused.

  • Pay rate: $65,000-78,000/year depending on experience
  • Location: Vancouver, BC
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 10 AM- 6 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Identify key strategic issues and opportunities affecting the business and translate them into achievable action plans
  • Measure own performance results as well as the results of the Retail Team against strategic business targets
  • Manage and control the entire store’s inventory as well as ensuring that the store’s budgeted inventory goal is not exceeded
  • Network locally and create excitement via events, public relations, and local advertising
  • Manage and oversee HR matters at the store such as recruitment, new employee orientation, employee engagement and performance reviews
  • Work in a high-volume location
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years of Canadian retail management experience - preferably for a luxury brand
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Design, or Retail Management preferred
  • Creative and persuasive communication style, self-motivated, with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills
  • Must have previous experience using a POS system change
  • High proficiency with computer software
  • Experience in the multi-project delivery of sales planning, customer service, budgeting, financial analysis, and management
  • Knowledge of retail furniture, home accessory or fashion industry is considered an asset
  • Experience with luxury lifestyle brands is an asset
  • Bilingual language skills are an asset
