Adecco is currently recruiting for a Storyboard Artist for a 12-Month contract with our Client in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate is someone with Gaming and media experience, looking to work on large-scale projects.

The Storyboard Artist will have the following responsibilities: 
•Collaborate with the Game Designers, Cinematics Director and Narrative Team to create high-quality, dynamic storyboard panels;
•Study scripts to determine artistic interpretation and design boards in conjunction with the Cinematics Director and the Lead Narrative Designer;
•Collaborate with Game Designers to understand and visualize proposed gameplay action and features;
•Be aware of the game’s progression, and ensure the style and quality of the cinematics are consistently met in board work;
•Communicate progress or issues with the Game Designers, Cinematic Director and Producer to ensure all deadlines are met;
•Communicate ideas effectively and recommend solutions to help interpret the script and gameplay ideas visually;
•Actively participate in department meetings and reviews.

The Storyboard Artist must meet the following mandatory requirements:
•Hold an undergraduate degree in an art-related field, or equivalent of the related field;
•2+ years of working as a storyboard artist; 
•Experience working with Digital tools (Sketchbook, Photoshop, etc.);
•Strong drawing skills and sense of design, character and composition;
•Ability to organize and manage time effectively to consistently meet deadlines;
•Experience working in Console/PC video games would be considered an asset;
