Adecco is currently recruiting for a House Keeping Supervisor on a long term contract for our client, a leader in the facility maintenance industry. This House Keeping Supervisor position is a renewable contract within a major client site in the Oshawa area. The primary focus of this house keeping supervisor is to help our client be better by meeting their unique cleaning, maintenance, and facilities management needs.
The Supervisor shall control and maintain an effective workplace environment by overseeing daily activities and assignments with Team Leaders and other Team Members. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Supervisor is primarily responsible for planning and directing the work of hourly team members, as well as ensuring that all team members have the required training to work safely and efficiently.
The Supervisor is also a driving force for continuous improvement and safety excellence. The Supervisor will have a strong customer focus, building outstanding relationships with our customers and ensuring that all their needs are met. Successful candidates for this House Keeping Supervisor would need to commit to the length of the contract and be available for days or afternoon shift, as required. You must have 5+ years as a supervisor of facility house keeping in a unionized environment.
