Supply Chain Manager

Our Richmond client is currently searching for a Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for all aspects of sourcing, transportation, purchasing, fulfillment and to successfully employ strategic solutions, to achieve organizational goals.

Supply Chain Manager Key Responsibilities:

•    Manage the procurement processes, logistics, distribution and supply chain activities, ensuring the needs of the organization are met.
•    Responsible for the sourcing of components and the negotiation of pricing, terms and contracts with all our major suppliers.
•    Develop and monitor the supply chain KPI’s and metrics to provide continuously improving business processes.
•    Ensure the company has pricing in line with local market prices and create monthly progress reports regarding the procurement plan going forward.
•    Work directly with the Marketing, Sales and Operations departments to develop customer service strategies to support the needs of the organization.
•    Lead, manage and train a small team of supply chain administrators.

Supply Chain Manager Experience and Skill Requirements: 

•    3+ Years in a procurement, supply chain or related position.
•    Post-secondary education in supply chain management (equivalent or related fields will be considered).
•    Previous experience in end to end supply chain practices with a knowledge of procurement systems and infrastructure.
•    Strong leadership and organizational skills. Showing an ability to motivate and develop a team.
•    English communication skills for professional environment, both written and spoken.
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
