Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Supply Chain Project Manager in Ottawa, ON to work a 12-month contract for our client, a global leader that majors in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of detailed project plans to achieve overall program goals. If you have a minimum of 3 years’ of experience in project management/technical program, and a hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Physical Sciences, this job is for you!

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct, manage and coordinate Program Development projects through cross-functional teams
  • Responsible for the development and execution of detailed project plans to achieve overall program goals
  • Lead, coordinate and/or participate on cross-functional team activities from Concept Phase through Product Launch Phase
  • Responsible and accountable for meeting program development requirements, meeting program cost goals, quality objectives and time-to-market objectives
  • Analyze complex problems including those related to project risks, identify their impact and establish probabilities
  • Responsible for completing documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business and quality standards
  • Travel up to 30% of the time both domestically and internationally to support operational goals
  • Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Physical Sciences is a must
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ of experience in technical program / project management role is required
  • Skilled in project planning and management
  • Working knowledge of new product development methodologies is an asset
  • Able to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of and adherence to a schedule
  • Can use various types of databases and other computer software
  • Able to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors.
  • Capable of forming and developing interpersonal, professional relationships and displaying socially and professionally appropriate behavior
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Able to prioritize
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
