Adecco is currently recruiting for a Tableau Specialist- Intermediate  for an 8-month contract with a possibility of extension with our Crown Corporation Client located in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or to be eligible.

The Tableau Specialist- Intermediate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop new Dashboards to monitor training compliance for visualization;
  • Develop rich interactive visualizations integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources through excel files and SQL server;
  • Responsible for the full life cycle of Tableau reporting solutions, including research, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training & support for report development projects.
The Tableau Specialist- Intermediate must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or in a relevant field; 
  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Must be proficient in the use and maintenance of Tableau Suite of Products (Desktop, Prep, Server) for visualization;
  • Must be proficient in the scripting language of VBA (for MS Access, MS Excel), SAS, SQL;
  • Exposure to Tableau server (Create extract and Publishing);
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, specially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve ambitious goals;
  • Excellent communications skills, combining efficiency and persuasion skills;
  • Demonstrate determination and details/results-oriented personality.
