Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated Team Lead to join their clients team in Vaughan, ON. The successful candidate will oversee inbound shipment receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.   • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Detailed Job Description: As the Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing inbound shipment receiving, handling, distribution, and storage.

  • Managing a warehouse team, including training, scheduling, motivation, and performance evaluation.

  • Ensuring timely order processing and shipment to stores.

  • Maintaining inventory levels and addressing discrepancies.

  • Enforcing workplace safety practices and compliance with company and legislative standards.

  • Identifying and implementing improvements in warehouse organization and processes.

  • Assisting in warehouse layout planning and space optimization.

  • Handling other related duties as required.

Candidate's Profile: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • 2-5 years of progressive warehouse lead hand experience.

  • Working knowledge of warehousing and shipping operations.

  • Familiarity with WHMIS and Ontario Occupational Health and Safety legislation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.

  • Conflict resolution skills and diplomacy.

  • Ability to lift weights up to 25 kg and work in a warehouse environment.

  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organization, planning, and resource allocation abilities.

  • Change and project management skills.

  • A strong work ethic with a customer-first mindset.
